In Buddhism you are supposed to follow Buddha,

In Hinduism you are supposed to follow the Vedas,

In Jainism you are supposed to follow Mahavira,

In Islam you are supposed to follow Muhammad.

I say supposed because I don’t know actually how many follow them truly, even though when asked the most prompt answer is, I am a Christian or Muslim, or Hindu or Jain or Buddhist.

But in Iism, you only follow the “I” and not anyone or anything else.

This “I” is not your Personality.

This “I” is not your Ego.

This “I” is not your First Name, Middle Name, Surname, Nickname, or any other names.

This “I” is your “Consciousness” which is the “Source”, the “Source of Existence”.

The entire existence is a sea of Consciousness manifesting itself whether in the form of “Matter” or “Energy”.

In the form of matter, Consciousness takes the shape of cells, microbes, plants, animals, the earth, the sea, the sky which when broken down to the basic elements gives us Hydrogen, Oxygen, Carbon and all the other ones present in the “Periodic Table”.

When further broken down, the elements of matter, give us Molecules, Atoms, Protons, Neutrons, Electrons, Quarks, Bosons, Mesons, Photons, Leptons so on and so forth.

Albert Einstein proved, All matter is Convertible to Energy, and all Matter is nothing but forms of static or dormant Energy.

All Matter and Energy forms are created from Consciousness, which is the all pervasive, omnipotent, omniscient Intelligence, the Creator of this Existence.

The entire existence, all the planets, solar systems, galaxies in the Universe are nothing but Conscious Intelligence manifesting itself through Matter and Energy.

This Conscious Intelligence is the “I”, and when you realize this, all duality disappears, then you are not bothered about your so called Religion, then you are not bothered about your so called Caste, then you are not bothered about your so called Community, then you are not bothered about your so called Nation, then you are not bothered about your so called Species.

Iism is just a way, it doesn’t have any scriptures, Iism doesn’t want you to be disciplined, Iism doesn’t want you to follow any rituals, Iism doesn’t ask you to say any prayers, and Iism doesn’t ask you to ask for anyone’s blessings.

Whom will you pray to… Yourself?

Whom will you ask blessings from?… Yourself?

That’s the greatest joke mankind has invented and blindly followed for the last 10,000 years, and just like an accepted joke, hardly anyone questions it, and if anyone does question it, then he is labeled Crazy.

Iism asks you to come out of that joke, come out of that dependence and realize that you are the Source, and the Source has no one to pray to, nothing to pray for, It has everything, It is everything.

You are everything that there was, is and will be.

Once you know it, then you know your true self, then you know the “I” and when you realize that, then your life is a Sheer Joy, it’s a Celebration of Existence, then life is Blissful, then it’s a Moment to Moment Ecstacy, then you celebrate Here and Now, then you attain Nirvana, then you attain Moksh, then you are Liberated, then you are once more the Free Spirit.

So taking our sleeping hours into count, we generally have more than one thought in a single second and moreover most of those thoughts startlingly are rotten. Rotten why? Because 90% of the thoughts that we think in a day are exactly the same thoughts which we have thought yesterday. Sit back for a few minutes, right now, leaving everything you are doing, and try to just be a witness to the thoughts that well up in your mind. If you monitor your thoughts right away you will probably discover that the thoughts that are being thrown up by your mind has been lingering since long, maybe since years, since decades, and they have almost become repetitive inside you, forming patterns, never ending patterns.

To reach the Alpha state of your being all those thoughts have to disappear. The thoughts have to die down, the frequencies have to come down from the normal Beta state. Imagine your mind as a blackboard on which the thoughts are written moment after moment, you have to just use the duster and reach the clean state in the Alpha stage.

So when you are in Beta, that is the normal day to day state of your being, when you are either working, studying, cooking, watching TV or maybe traveling, just try to witness the train of thoughts that is always running, and try to come out of the rails, be in the sidelines, pull the brakes and watch them gradually slow down, until they come to a stop.

You can do it standing, sitting or lying down, posture is not important but the important part is the thoughts should dissolve to nothingness, and then you would successfully alter your regular state and enter the State of Alpha.

You will notice that once your thoughts begin to reduce, you become more and more alert, you are awake, your consciousness is more aware. When you reach this stage of Conscious Awareness through dropping your thoughts, and altering your state of mind from the Bogus Beta to the Alert Alpha, then you are ready, steady and on your marks for the real journey, the journey to Eternal Bliss, the path to Eternal Freedom, Ecstacy and Celebration through the next stages of Thoughtless Theta and Divine Delta.

It’s the state of the human being when the frequencies of the thoughts are the highest, the frequencies are in the range of 12 to 30.

Beta is the state in which we live our daily habitual lives. When the mind is not aware, it acts just like a table tennis board, in which the thoughts play like the ping pong ball. It keeps on jumping like a monkey from one branch of a tree to the other. Like you can’t control a jumping monkey, the mind in the Beta state is also not aware of its jumping nature, and the subsequent confusion, misery, helplessness and egocentric ness it creates.

The key to put an end to this eternal confusion of the Beta state is to take control, to be aware, to be aware of your consciousness, which comes through the elimination of thoughts, and the pathway to that elimination is the Alpha State of Being.

We live as if our lives are the creation of our Mind, which our body just obeys.

Our Mind is a reservoir of thoughts, thoughts which define our actions and reactions to a particular stimuli.

Thoughts are actually electrical activities in the brain, and the amount of electrical activity in our brain defines the State of our being.

The following are the scientifically proved States that a Human Being goes through in his life time.

Gamma – Hyperactive state- Certain Cognitive or Motor functions-masses of neurons emit electrical signals at the rate of around 40 times a second (40 hertz or Hz, 26-100Hz)

Beta – Active State- masses of neurons emit electrical signals at the rate of around 12-30 times a second (12-30hertz or Hz)

Alpha – Meditative State- masses of neurons emit electrical signals at the rate of around 8-12 times a second (8-12 hertz or Hz)

Theta – Subconscious State – Deep Meditative State-Before and After Sleep , Dream State- masses of neurons emit electrical signals at the rate of around 4-7 times a second (4-7 hertz or Hz)

Delta –Slow Wave Sleep- State- Cosmic Consciousness – Supreme Consciousness – Super Consciousness- masses of neurons emit electrical signals at the rate of around 0 to 3 times a second (0 to 3 hertz or Hz)

In Iism, Meditation is the path to alter or change your state of being, from Bogus Beta to Divine Delta. The Change is just in the state of being, no rites or rituals, no rules or principles.

The core meaning of Religion is the path to God.

Whereas Iism is the path to Godliness.

God and Godliness are different. God is an entity whereas Godliness is a state of being. The true state of human beings is Godliness, whereas God is a noun which creates an identity, an entity, a duality. Iism doesn’t believe in duality, because duality is false, duality can’t be true, duality is a mistake.

So Iism, is more than a religion, it’s a Way of Living, it’s Life as it is, Life as in NOW. Iism is the path to the present, a path to the realization that nothing exists in this Universe apart from the I, the I that is the very core of your existence, the I that was forever, the I that will be forever. The I that was never born, the I that will never die.

All the love, abundance and joy you want already exists within you, the secret is in discovering it.

Meditation which is not restricted to a specific time, or place, or posture, Meditation which is all pervasive. Meditation is that fire which can not only burn all the dirt and waste your mind has collected over the years, it is also the seed which enables the tree of conscious awareness, the tree of godliness to grow inside you.

Over the years, during a man’s lifetime he is bombarded with information, superstition, rules, do’s and don’ts, his mind becomes a living Recycle Bin, with no one to press the delete button. No one will ever press the delete button, YOU have to do it. And the best and only way to successfully break free from all the conditioning, and the misery that it brings, is to delete forever, the trash that has been collected in your Recycle Bin. Mind it, the mind’s Recycle Bin has unlimited storage capacity, and you have to get rid of its entire contents, and that’s possible only through Meditation.

How to go ahead in this path of Meditation, and experience Celebration, Ecstacy, Bliss and Conscious Awareness for the rest of your life, we will discuss in the subsequent posts.

YOU means the CONSCIOUSNESS that is you. You means the form of energy that is you. The YOU that transcends the fictional necessities of name, age, nationality, creed, and community. The YOU which is NOW, the YOU which was there before your physical birth, the YOU that will be after your physical death, the YOU that is immortal, the YOU that is beyond time, the YOU that is infinite, the YOU that is forever.

Iism has only one TRUTH, the truth of NON DUALITY. Falsehood can come in many forms, but truth is only one, and the truth that governs our universe, is that of Non Duality. Duality divides, duality breaks the flow, duality makes you feel You and I are separate, duality makes you believe that You and God are separate, duality makes you believe America and Russia are different, duality makes you discriminate Africa and Asia, duality makes you disunite the Milky Way from the other galaxies. The truth is, they are not separate, they are not disjoined, they are not split. The truth is duality does not exist, it’s a perception, a false perception which our senses trick us into. Non Duality is the only truth, You are the only truth.

If you look for answers in the Sciences, you will find Science is also moving towards the same truth. Einstein proved E= mc² ie energy and mass are inter convertible, which means energy is all there is, mass or matter as we perceive are different forms of energy. The human mind and body are also forms of energy, energy in the dormant form. Any form of matter is a dormant form of energy. What we identify as gold or diamond or money or steel or computer is nothing but forms of dormant energy. Today’s String Theory and yesterday’s Particle Physics also point towards the same truth, the truth that all there is, are just different forms of the same existence. Iism says that existence is YOU. And the path to realize that is to be AWARE, to be CONSCIOUS, to AWAKEN to the TRUTH that there is no duality in this universe, the only truth in the universe is YOU.

The path to that AWAKENING, the path to that AWARENESS, the path to that NIRVANA or SALVATION, the path to that TRUTH, the path of IISM, is what we will discuss in the subsequent posts of this blog.

Since the arrival of man in this planet, his quest towards solving the mystery of life has lead him to various endeavors, good or bad, easy or complicated. But till date even after approximately 40,000 years since our species, the Homo Sapiens appeared on the face of the Earth, we have not successfully discovered ourselves, have not discovered the true meaning and purpose of life and the purpose of our existence.

Some of us are so busy with our daily modern age lifestyle, that we have even stopped asking the most important questions to ourselves, the very quest of understanding life has been relegated to perhaps an unsuccessful and futile endeavor.

Religions, ever since their existence, have tried to find a path towards salvation or enlightenment, but most of them have failed, mostly because they have been institutionalized. Look at all the existing religions, that we have, you will find rules, and rules and rules. You will find dogmas, dos, don’ts. You will find dualism, you will find Gods and Goddesses, stories and scriptures. The real answers have been entirely lost, the condition is such that if you ask a decent, educated person in today’s world, what is your religion, he will promptly answer that, but when you ask does it fulfill your quest, he will ask, “What Quest?”

The Quest is the search for the real you, for the meaning of your existence, for the meaning of your life, this world, and the universe.

Iism (pronounced – eye ism) answers all this, and though it’s a religion, it doesn’t have any dogmas, it doesn’t have any principles, it is not a 10,000 page scripture, its not stories, and talks, and talks. It’s not based on myths, it doesn’t rely on priesthood, it doesn’t need a church, or a temple or a synagogue or a monastery. Iism just needs YOU. That’s all. Iism is concerned about YOU and not the Gods, Iism makes you realize who you are, Iism changes you, from the very core, Iism changes your entire existence.

Come to Iism when you think you need a change, Come to Iism when you think there is something wrong in your understanding of this world. Come to Iism when you think this is not the world you dreamt of, Come to Iism when you have questions, Come to Iism when you have doubts, Come to Iism when you want to realize your true potential. Come to Iism if your religion doesn’t satisfy you, Come to Iism if you want to be liberated, Come to Iism if you want freedom.

To adapt Iism in your lives, you don’t need to revolt against the religion you now follow, you need not leave all that you have learnt so far, you don’t need to forget all your scriptures, you don’t need to disbelief your God. Just Come and experience, you will emerge a NEW MAN.
